Plan & Subscription

The Plan & Subscription screen shows your current KynNote plan and lets you choose, upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or reactivate a paid plan. You can also review and download past invoices here.

How to use it

  1. Open Settings from the left sidebar (on mobile, use the bottom navigation), then go to the subscription section.
  2. At the top, review the Current plan card. It shows your plan name and status (Active, Cancels on a date, or Cancelled). During a trial it also shows how many days are left.
  3. Use the Manage billing / Invoice history tabs to switch between managing your subscription and viewing past invoices. The Invoice history tab shows a count badge when invoices exist.
  4. To change plans, use the Choose a plan section. Switch between Monthly and Annual billing with the toggle — Annual shows the percentage discount.
  5. Each plan card lists its price and included features (contacts, meetings, storage, AI scans, sharing, and Google contacts sync). Your current plan is marked ✓ Your plan; the recommended option is marked Most popular.
  6. Click the button on a plan card to act on it — for example Upgrade to…, Downgrade to…, Get…, or Subscribe to…. Your current plan's button is disabled and reads Your current plan.
  7. Before checkout you may see a pro-rata notice explaining that the charge could be adjusted for the remaining days in the period; the final amount (including GST or applicable taxes) is shown on the secure Zoho checkout page.
  8. After paying, a Confirming payment dialog appears while your subscription is activated with Zoho Billing (usually under a minute). You can keep using KynNote during this time, and after a short wait a Continue using app button lets you dismiss it. On mobile this appears as a bottom sheet instead of a centered dialog.
  9. On success, a confirmation appears (You're on [plan]!) with options to Start using [plan] or View receipt. If payment did not complete, a failure message offers Try again or Back to plans.
  10. To cancel an active paid plan, click Cancel plan; your access continues until the end of the billing period. If a cancellation is scheduled, click Reactivate subscription to keep the plan.
  11. In Invoice history, each invoice shows its number, status, issue date, and amount. Click PDF to download a copy.

FAQs

What happens during my free trial? You get full Starter-level access with the trial's contact and AI scan limits, and no card is required. The trial runs for the listed number of days; if a post-trial plan is set, it applies once the trial ends.

Will the amount I pay match the price on the plan card? Not always. When changing plans mid-cycle, you may be charged a pro-rated amount for the remaining days in the current billing period. The final charge, including applicable taxes, is shown on the secure Zoho checkout page.

I paid but my new plan isn't active yet. What should I do? After payment, KynNote shows a "Confirming payment" message while activation completes with Zoho Billing, usually in under a minute. You can keep using the app meanwhile; if it's taking longer, refresh billing in Settings.

Where do I find my receipts? Open the Invoice history tab. Paid plan invoices appear there after checkout, and you can download each one as a PDF.
